Who’s Your Pat?

From time to time, communicators can get stuck on how to explain a particular idea, product, etc. Yes, even ME.

I have a friend named Pat who is a talented chef and a generally smart person.

Sometimes when I am feeling that I haven’t sufficiently simplified a concept, I take her out to lunch and run it by her. Usually that does the trick.
