Being Nice is Free – Part II
June 12th, 2013Here’s a quick technique for tapping into your “nice.”
I’m not into meditation or the like but I learned this quick exercise a few months ago and it’s served me well.
- Breathe in deeply and slowly through your nose.
- Exhale slowly through your mouth.
- Repeat for a total of three times breathing in and out
I’ve been astonished at how well this works as a super-quick calming practice:
- In stressful situations
- Before a presentation or important meeting
- To regain focus
